While studying a degree in Politics, I came to realise that I much prefer the world of media, and was fortunate that the two go largely hand in hand.
Despite the general perception of the media, I think that it is a fascinating tool, and since 2010 I have been slowly becoming more immersed in that world. Activities include but aren’t limited to; mentorship from a newspaper editor, a short stint on radio, and media training from PR company Excess Energy Communications.
In 2016 I completed a Journalism MA with NCTJ qualification.
Drawing upon these experiences, I now have two prominent sections to my media portfolio:
PODCASTING
All of my podcasting is now done under the banner of Tinman Podcasts.
At this time I produce three podcasts; The Tom Inniss Podcast, Tom Inniss Interviews… and Arts Award Voice Podcast.
Tom Inniss Interviews… somehow receives around 1000 hits a month, and has had prominent guests like Alex Horne and Joe Craig.

JOURNALISM
In August 2012 I was hired by Trinity College London to become a Sub-Editor for Arts Award Voice. With the official title of Commissions and Social Affairs, the role had me contacting a variety of guest contributors, both to provide articles and be interviewed. In addition to this, I also write my own articles for the site.
In May 2014 I was promoted to Deputy Editor, and in 2017 I became the Editor.
